Community Focus FCU at 18925 Telegraph Road, Brownstown Charter Township, Michigan.

This place is either a hit or miss. Sometimes the staff are very welcoming and friendly, other times they are the worst part of my day. When graduating from high school (2013) I submitted personal checks to be cashed and they told me they'd "do me a favor" by not charging me to deposit each check. When has it ever been a fee to deposit checks?

Recently my debit card information was stolen (2017). I received a text asking about a suspicious purchase and when I said I didn't make them the card got canceled. When calling the next day for ordering a new card, the woman was very nice, however it's going to take up to 10 business days till I get a new card? Unacceptable. I had to ask a friend to drive me off campus while I live and go to school in Ann Arbor to withdraw money from a service center so that I can afford the cost of living while waiting for my card. I noticed that some of the fraudulent purchases made it through and I got charged for purchases I did not make and when I called about it the woman was very rude and ended up hanging up on me at the end of the phone call.

I've been with Community Focus all my life and so has three generations of my family. They used to be very wonderful people, and some of them still are, however this credit union is going down a dark hole.
